Ampak Oil has drilled, acquired, or participated in wells in many areas around the state. Wells in the Permian Basin, the Bend Arch, South Texas, the Hardeman Basin in North Texas, and along the Texas Gulf Coast have resulted in production that has exceeded 1 million barrels of oil to date. That number continues to increase as new successful wells are completed.
Concentrating on areas with a prolific production history has allowed the company to drill relatively conservative drilling opportunities which have a higher probability of success. The company’s current main areas of focus include South Texas and the Permian Basin.
